Welcome to KidsBooksByKiki! Kamille Kiecker aka Kiki, is a children’s book author from Chicago. She has always loved art, starting from when she was in kindergarten. Her love for drawing and creating led her to become a graphic designer, and now she uses her talents to write and illustrate books for kids.
Kamille wrote her first book, “The Fire Truck Story,” because of her third child, who loves firetrucks. When he was just two years old, they often visited the local fire station. They talked to firefighters and learned about their important work, which inspired Kamille to write a book about it.
Kiki’s mission is to create books that make childhood special. She believes that the stories we hear as kids stay with us forever. That’s why she makes sure her books are not only fun to read but also teach kids important things in a simple and clear way.
Kamille takes great care in making her books. She uses her art skills to create beautiful illustrations that catch the eye but don’t overwhelm young readers. Her goal is to inspire kids and make learning fun through her stories.
